MEANING OF THE NAME
This Tamjanika wine is named after Budimir’s wife, Vera. Vera is also a Serbian word for ‘faith’ and ‘belief’.

HARVEST

VINIFICATION
De-stemming and cold maceration of the must. Soft pressing. Static clearing. Fermentation in stainless steel. Only natural yeast are used with no temperature control.
AGING
Tamjanika Vera is stored for two to five (2-5) years in traditional Serbian oak casks of 2000L and 3000L. Raking occurs every 6 months. No filtration is done before bottling.

Color: Straw yellow with a touch of gold
Aroma: Unmistakable scent of elderberry, notes of honey and ripe apples.
On the palate: Great acidity is the backbone of this wine which finishes in a superb lingering aftertaste of citruses and ripe apple.
This wine matches perfectly with various cheeses, chicken or turkey.
